What is OLY and How to Apply?
OLY is a post-nominal title awarded by the World Olympians Association to all Olympians. It recognizes the years of dedication, achievement, and commitment to Olympic values required to compete at the Games. Like designations such as PhD or MD, OLY can be added after your name on business cards, résumés, social media, and professional communications—serving as a lifelong symbol of your Olympic legacy.
Eligible Olympians can apply for their OLY status through the World Olympians Association.
